Go to the "My Account" Tab on the on left hand side of screen.
Under the "Receive Text Messages" tab you will see an explanation of opting into messages. Below that are the options "yes" or "no".
Select yes or no then click on the update button under the choices.
The page should refresh and update with your newly selected choice.
New Users
Opting in or out of text messages
Go to Login tab in the upper right-hand corner of any Climate Center page.
On the Login page look for "sign up" link, and click on it.
When filling out your information, after entering a valid phone number you will be prompted with a popup.
The window will explain the benefits of opting into text messages with a “yes” or “no” choice. After selecting your choice press confirm for changes to be saved to your account when you create it.
