Our Mission is to facilitate access to climate data and information, and to use expertise in atmospheric science, to interpret climate information in an accurate and innovative fashion for the public.
The Utah Climate Center actively maintains and operates over 140 research grade weather stations distributed across 4 primary networks. Monitoring sites are located within Utah and surrounding states. The near real time data generated from our networks help support local and national forecasting models, Utah municipalities, farmers and ranchers, orchardists, and turf grass managers. Data from select sites is also critical to university and state agency research. The data we generate is open and free to the public through this website.
Surface Weather and Climate Observations
The Surface Weather and Climate Observations is an interactive-map interface to view station data. Quickly generate reports from various networks and stations from all over the globe. The Surface Weather and Climate Observations will be replacing the old Map Server interface.
